Music at Mediator

The music at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator encompasses a broad spectrum of musical periods and styles, which tandems our belief in the inclusiveness of God's creation and love. The music we use at Mediator comes from sources all over the world. New works and fresh arrangements of standard church melody and literature are included to introduce to the congregation the ever-widening variety of music. While most of the choir anthems are written and arranged by contemporary composers and musicians, we do perform music from other periods. Different ideas and suggestions about the music selected at Mediator are always welcomed.

For those who care to worship with us at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator, the tradition of hymn singing and other musical offerings are intended to enhance and deepen your experience. However, we also desire that everyone be able to enjoy his or her praise and prayer to God collectively through the wonderful gift of music.

The choir is open to anyone who has a pleasant voice and wishes to sing and perform music from many cultures and eras.
